Kern County runs on hydraulics — from the westside oilfields around Taft and Lost Hills, to the farm ground near Delano, Wasco and Shafter, to the trucks working the highways over the grade at Tehachapi. Different machines fail in different ways, but the pattern below covers most of the calls we take.
Boom, stick and bucket circuits live a hard life, and a pinhole on a high-pressure line rarely stays a pinhole. We typically build the 4-wire replacement right beside the machine — excavators, dozers, loaders, graders and scrapers — so the dig doesn't stall waiting on a parts run.
Remotes, loader circuits, implement lines and header hoses tend to let go at the worst point of the season. We roll to the row, match the ends and crimp at the field edge — tractors, harvesters, balers, sprayers and the implements behind them.
Heat, sun and constant vibration are rough on hoses, and a westside pad is a long way from a parts counter. We're used to lease-road directions and gate check-ins, and in most cases the new assembly gets built right at the pad.

The workhorse hydraulic hoses. Two-wire covers most everyday circuits; four-wire and spiral hose handle the high-pressure work on excavators, oilfield equipment and big ag iron.
The cone-shaped end you'll see all over ag and older American-built equipment. Metal-to-metal seal, easy to spot, and carried on every truck.
O-ring face seal — a flat end with a rubber O-ring that squeezes tight when torqued. Common on newer excavators and machines where a slow drip just isn't acceptable.
Split-flange connections bolted to pumps, motors and cylinders — usually the larger, high-flow lines. Code 62 is the heavier high-pressure version of the same idea.
European-built and some newer machines run metric ends — different threads, different sealing styles. We stock the common ones and can usually match what's on the machine.
