A blown hose at the air & space port, on a solar site, or at the 14/58 junction shouldn't mean a half-day parts run. One call and a stocked truck rolls east — hose built and crimped at the machine.
Mojave earns its living at a crossroads. Highways 14 and 58 meet here, the Union Pacific and BNSF run through town, and the Mojave Air & Space Port keeps a flightline of aerospace outfits — and their ground support equipment — working in the desert. Add the solar farms around California City, contractors on jobs adjacent to Edwards AFB, and boron mining traffic out toward Boron, and there's a lot of hydraulic iron out here for a place this far from a parts shelf.
In Bakersfield a parts run is an errand; out here it's half a day — somebody drives the fitting over the hill, hopes the counter has the match, and drives back while the crew sits. So when a hose lets go, we bring the counter to the machine: hose, common SAE and metric fittings and a crimper on the truck, the replacement cut, built and pressure-checked where the equipment sits.
East Kern is the far end of our range, and we won't pretend Mojave is around the corner from our home base. When you call, we tell you what the drive looks like — honestly, never promised minutes — so you can make the right call for your machine.
Every machine and every job is a little different, but most calls out this way fall into a few families — see what we fix for the full rundown. If yours isn't listed, call anyway.
Tugs, lifts, platforms and other GSE keeping the air & space port flightline moving. We work to your facility's access and escort rules.
Wet kits, liftgates and trailer hydraulics on trucks staging through the junction. We come to a safe pull-off, a fuel stop or your yard.
Telehandlers, boom lifts and water trucks working the arrays. Gate procedures and escorts are normal for us — give dispatch the gate and a pin.
Loaders, dozers and water trucks supporting boron mining traffic east of town. Call and we'll tell you straight whether the drive works that day.
Graders, excavators and support gear for contractors on jobs adjacent to Edwards AFB. We meet you at the laydown yard or wherever the machine sits.
Forklifts, loaders and lift equipment in the yards and industrial parks along the UP and BNSF lines through Mojave.
The further the truck rolls, the more the first call matters — showing up with the wrong fitting isn't a quick do-over out here.
Mojave and California City ride with the same truck. Over the hill we also run Tehachapi, and our industries page covers how we work with trucking outfits, contractors and site operators.
Call and you'll get a person, not a queue. Tell us where the machine sits and what let go — we'll quote the drive honestly before we hang up.
